“Aura Hackathon: Hack to NFT And Beyond” is a programming competition for all employees and students of FPT Corporation, enabling participants to present their ideas about NFT, GameFi and SocialFi related products built on Aura Network. This is the first local-scaled hackathon hosted by Aura Network tailored for avid programmers in the field of Blockchain and Web3, gathering momentum for an upcoming global-scaled hackathon.
After 3 months of selection, “Aura Hackathon: Hack to NFT and Beyond!” with a total prize of $30,000 found the most deserved winners from 35 registered entries. In order to facilitate teams coming from different regions, the Final Pitching was held in a hybrid model, including face-to-face and remote presentations.
Participating in the jury, there were Mr. Tran Hoang Giang - Founder & CEO of Aura Network, Mr. Vu Anh Tu - CTO of FPT Corporation, Mr. Tran Dang Hoa - COO of FPT Software, Mr. Nguyen The Vinh - Founder & CEO of Coin98 Finance and Mr. Calvin Chu - Core Builder Impossible Finance.
The highlight of the Aura Hackathon Final Pitching was the competition of the most outstanding finalists from FPT Software, FPT Telecom, FPT University and FPT Polytechnic. 09 projects with demo products were presented directly to the jury.
These are all the first NFT projects that were fully developed on the Aura Network platform. Through this, finalists did have the opportunity to directly engage with Aura Network's technical team, and make a contribution to the overall improvement of the platform's infrastructure if any.
After careful consideration, the jury officially decided the teams deserving the top 3 awards of the hackathon. As each project owned its breakthrough point, the jury decided to award one more third prize, bringing the total number to 04 winners:
- First Prize: EduGame team
- Second Prize: F-Trade team - Build a NFT that represents each Fsofter's working hour.
- Third Prize: NLZ team - Build a Virtual world where people live by 4 scores, including level/ health/ energy/ popularity and Meleport team - Swap, Convert NFT to NFT from Game to Game.
In which, the EduGame team won first place convincingly, with the idea of a groundbreaking combination of Education and Metaverse, taking the social construction learning method as the guideline. Besides creativity and innovation, the idea was highly appreciated for its feasibility and completion in such a short time.
In the closing remarks, Mr. Tran Dang Hoa, COO of FPT Software, on behalf of the Organizing Committee of “Aura Hackathon: Hack to NFT and Beyond” said: “FPT Software is responsible for pushing the mass applicability of NFT in different sectors. Aura Network is committed to accompanying and supporting developers to bring project ideas into reality. From here, I hope the Aura Network ecosystem will become more complete, becoming the first Blockchain Layer-1 ecosystem in Vietnam and contributing to the expansion of the developers community in general.”

Ngày 11/08/2022, Vòng Chung kết “Aura Hackathon: Hack to NFT and Beyond!” với tổng giải thưởng $30,000 đã diễn ra thành công tốt đẹp.
“Aura Hackathon: Hack to NFT And Beyond” là cuộc thi dành cho toàn bộ cán bộ nhân viên, sinh viên thuộc tập đoàn FPT. Các đội thi tham gia trình bày ý tưởng về những sản phẩm liên quan đến NFT, GameFi và SocialFi được xây dựng trên Aura Network.
Trải qua 03 tháng tuyển chọn, Vòng Chung kết “Aura Hackathon: Hack to NFT and Beyond!” với tổng giải thưởng $30,000 đã tìm ra ngôi vị quán quân từ 35 ý tưởng dự thi. Nhằm tạo điều kiện cho các đội thi đến từ 03 miền khác nhau, vòng chung kết được tổ chức với mô hình kết hợp (“hybrid model”), bao gồm thuyết trình trực tiếp hoặc thuyết trình từ xa.
Tham gia vào Hội đồng Ban giám khảo, có ông ông Trần Hoàng Giang - Founder & CEO Aura Network, ông Vũ Anh Tú - CTO FPT Corporation, ông Trần Đăng Hoà - COO FPT Software, ông Nguyễn Thế Vinh - Founder & CEO Coin98 Finance và ông Calvin Chu - Core Builder Impossible Finance.
Điểm sáng của Vòng Chung kết Aura Hackathon chính là phần thi của 09 đội xuất sắc nhất đến từ FPT Software, FPT Telecom, FPT University và FPT Polytechnic. 09 đề án kèm theo sản phẩm thử nghiệm thực tế được trình bày trực tiếp với Ban giám khảo. Đây đều là các dự án NFT đầu tiên thực sự được phát triển trên nền tảng Aura Network. Qua đây, các đội thi có cơ hội trực tiếp tương tác với đội ngũ chuyên môn của Aura Network, cũng như góp phần cải thiện cơ sở hạ tầng, công cụ của nền tảng.
Sau khi cân nhắc kỹ lưỡng, Ban giám khảo đã chính thức tìm ra ý tưởng xứng đáng với 3 giải cao nhất của chương trình. Mỗi đề án đều có điểm đột phá riêng, vì vậy Ban giám khảo đã quyết định trao thêm một giải Ba, nâng tổng số lượng lên 04 đội thi chung cuộc.
- Giải Nhất: đội thi EduGame
- Giải Nhì: đội thi F-Trade
- Đồng Giải Ba: đội thi NLZ và đội thi Meleport
Trong đó, đội thi EduGame đã chiến thắng ngôi vị quán quân đầy thuyết phục, với ý tưởng về một nền tảng kết hợp tuyệt vời giữa Giáo dục và Metaverse, lấy phương thức học kiến tạo xã hội làm kim chỉ nam. Bên cạnh tính sáng tạo và đột phá, ý tưởng được đánh giá cao về tính ứng dụng thực tiễn và độ hoàn thiện trong thời gian ngắn.
Trước khi bế mạc chương trình, ông Trần Đăng Hoà, COO FPT Software, thay mặt Ban Tổ chức “Aura Hackathon: Hack to NFT and Beyond” chia sẻ: “FPT Software có trách nhiệm góp phần thúc đẩy tính ứng dụng của NFT. Aura Network cam kết sẽ đồng hành và hỗ trợ các nhà phát triển đưa ý tưởng dự án trở thành hiện thực. Từ đây, tôi hy vọng hệ sinh thái Aura Network sẽ ngày càng hoàn thiện, trở thành hệ sinh thái Blockchain Layer-1 đầu tiên tại Việt Nam. Bên cạnh đó, góp phần phát triển cộng đồng nhà phát triển tại Việt Nam nói riêng, trên thế giới nói chung.”
